Billing & Pricing
Is Gate.AI pricing aligned with official model prices?
Yes. Platform prices stay in sync with each model provider. What you see on this page is what you pay—no markup.
Does the platform support Prompt Cache? How is cache pricing calculated?
Yes. For models that support caching, cached input tokens are billed at the provider’s cache discount rate; non-cached portions are billed at list price. You can see cache hit status and savings per request in log details.
Are there fixed monthly fees or minimum spend requirements?
No. There are no fixed monthly fees or minimums. Prepaid Credits are consumed pay-as-you-go.
How are image, video, and other multimodal capabilities billed?
Text capabilities are billed by token usage. Image, audio, video, and similar capabilities are billed by generation count, duration, resolution, or task specification.
Am I charged if a call fails?
No. Only successful responses are billed. Failed, timed-out, or invalid failover attempts are not charged.
Is streaming billed differently?
No. Streaming and non-streaming use the same token-based billing.
Do you offer volume discounts or annual plans?
Yes. Enterprise supports customized volume discounts and annual contracts with invoice and wire-transfer workflows.
What payment methods are supported?
Top up via bank card or Web3 wallet. Enterprise customers can use fiat wire transfer or major stablecoins for large prepayments—contact your account manager for details.
Do prepaid Credits expire?
No. Your prepaid Credits balance does not expire.
Privacy & Security
Does the platform store my prompts and outputs?
Not by default. Inputs and outputs are not stored unless you opt in to log retention. Enterprise supports Zero Data Retention (ZDR) to reduce sensitive data exposure.
Will my data be used for product improvement?
Not by default. If you opt in to product-improvement authorization, you may receive specific request pricing discounts.
Do you support SSO and enterprise permissions?
Yes. Enterprise includes SSO, organization management, and multi-level role-based access control (RBAC) for teams and departments.
Onboarding & Migration
How do I migrate from OpenAI / Anthropic?
Three steps: create an API Key, add Credits, and replace Base URL and API Key. OpenAI and Anthropic protocols are supported—no app rewrite required.
Which frameworks and IDE tools are supported?
OpenAI Python / Node.js SDKs and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Cline, Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code.
Is dedicated support available for enterprise onboarding?
Yes. Standard developer docs are available. Enterprise customers get a dedicated channel, account manager, and SLA.
